DIY Conservatories Add Value To Homes
In March 2012, the HSBC Head of Mortgages cautioned UK home owners not to count on spring DIY projects to increase the value of their houses automatically. He did note, however, that diy conservatories are an exception. These additions could increase the price of an average property by approximately ₤10,000. There are even some real estate agents that said an increase of double the building cost would be a reasonable estimate.
