Founded by Steven Hager in the year 1987, the High Times Cannabis Cup is up to date the world's unsurpassed Cannabis festival. The Cannabis cup in Amsterdam is the biggest hemp and marijuana festival in the entire world.
It involves competitions for the best weed seeds, hash and buds. The event is annual and its venue is in Amsterdam. This year, the event will be held between 20th and 24th of November.
The harvest period for weed is in fall. During this five day competition, the weed buds are graded based on their color, the grass is examined to determine its purity while the spiffs are graded based on strength and length.
